I waited for August 20 with undisguised pleasure. Well, first of all, this is GamesCom, EA, Battlefield 4. And secondly, some time ago I was invited to a closed EA event, where I could watch a press conference from Cologne in good company (namely famous players, moviemakers, streamers of the BF community), and also shoot. How can you refuse this??

Arriving at the meeting place a little earlier than planned, I was glad to see many people I knew, with whom I had to work back in the days of Bad Company 2: Mys, Black_angel, JOe (although, most likely, their nicknames are unlikely to tell you anything). Although most of the guys and girls were strangers to me, what’s funny is that they recognized me (at this point I say hello to Lera. You see, they recognize me not only on the subway 😉 ). We got ready, drove off, got to the “Object” relatively quickly. And Empire was waiting for us on the spot.HILL dancing on a tank with a socket wrench. Sounds weird, looks funny 🙂

After filling out the necessary paperwork, we went to the shooting galleries, where instructors, loaded Glocks and a typical lecture on safety measures were already waiting for us. But it’s a necessary thing, I don’t argue. As for the pistol and carbine, I can say that they were combat (hardcore only!). I haven’t shot anything at all for a long time, but I was ready for normal recoil, which is why there were almost no shots. After the trial session there was a test session based on the result. In general, initially we thought that such a competition would be “purely for fun”. But as it turned out later, EA Russia’s partners, NVIDIA, prepared gifts for the best shooters (among whom I happened to be). These were external hard drives with a Porsche design and GeForce engraving.

The hard drive looks a little more than cool. I still don’t want to open the box, so there are no other photos 🙂

And then there was a stream from GamesCom. I think there is no need to tell what was there, you could have watched all this on SG or read it in the news. The most important thing we were interested in was Battlefield 4. It was a break in the brain, pants and templates. Premium has already been pre-ordered, all you have to do now is wait for October 31st and blow up, kill and stream 🙂
In general, EA Russia was able to organize a great event, and only after that I realized that the best events are the closed and intimate ones, since there are simply no schoolchildren and everyone is adequate 🙂
