PART ONE: Main characters
• Judge Joseph Dredd – that’s what his name sounds like. He is the main character of the comic book line of the same name. Has phenomenal strength and shooting accuracy. Charismatic. The author of one of the most terrifying phrases:

Interesting fact: Judge Dredd never took off his helmet in his entire history, but there was one case when this did happen. At this moment, Dredd’s face was covered by censorship, but those who saw his appearance were very confused and even scared.
The authors betray such a serious attitude to the helmet, because Dredd is the personification of the law, and, as we know, the law has no face.
Dredd was artificially grown from the DNA of Chief (then deceased) Judge Justus Fargo in 2066.

Already at the Academy of Judges, Ricco showed high results and surpassed his brother in everything. After graduating from the Academy of Judges, Rico went against the law and for this he was arrested by his own brother and sentenced to 20 years of hard labor in Siberia maximum security prison "Titan". There he has a daughter with a reporter: Vienna Dredd (who we will talk about later).

Having graduated from the Academy of Judges, Dolman decided to quit judicial practice, because he wanted a free life, where he was free to choose who he should be. He subsequently joined the Space Marines, but regularly visited Mega City One and maintains contact with Dredd’s niece Venna (story below).
Judge Rico’s daughter – born to a reporter in Titan Prison, where Rico was serving his sentence. Orphaned as a child. The girl loved her uncle, Judge Dredd, very much, not knowing that he killed her father. Having learned about this in 2107, Vienna forgave him. Dredd, in order to ensure his future safety, asked her guardian (Mrs. Pasternak) to visit Mega City One less often. After 23 years, he met Vienna again, and she held no grudge against Dredd.
PART TWO: Comics about the judge
Judge Dredd is the creation of the British sci-fi comics company 2000AD. The character was created in March 1977 by John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra. Dredd’s story was first introduced in the second issue of "Prog" and was resumed in issue 9. Later, when Dredd became the most popular character in 2000AD, he began appearing in every issue from 1980 to 1988.
After 1990, Dredd got his own Judge Dredd Megazine series, which is still published today.

PART THREE: Referee equipment (equipment)
After graduating from the Academy of Judges, each judge is given a set of equipment consisting of:
• Judge armor (Helmet, name badge and protective armored suit)
• Comic book version of the “lawgiver” pistol:

All of them have a high rate of fire and great accuracy.
There are 6 main types of cartridges, depending on the firing mode:
• Standard execution – standard bullets
• Heat Seeker or Hot Shot – a standard bullet is driven by an unstable element – Argon 886. Seeker binds to target via heat source.
• Ricochet – a metal bullet coated with rubber.
• Incendiary – capable of causing fire to ignite a target.
• Armor Piercing – these bullets are made of extremely dense material and contain a more powerful charge for a higher muzzle velocity.
• High-Explosive "Hi-Ex" – multiple fragments contained around extremely concentrated explosives.
Interesting fact: Some Judge Dredd stories mention stun bullets, "Exorcist" bullets, used against supernatural enemies. In one story, a judge fired marker bullets that marked their target green.
• Daystick (Daystik) – A melee weapon shaped like a baseball bat, coated with titanium. Used during the day: this is where it gets its name. Used to stun or render unconscious those who decide to get to know each other better. The dating process usually ends with the words:
• The latest device for judges is the Lawmaster – a weighted motorcycle equipped with combat units in the form of rockets and machine guns. Used to transport referees and their equipment, also available in flight versions.
