In some situations, one funder may cover all costs for a particular cost category. In other situations, costs within a cost category will be funded by more than one funding source. The above list contains all possible costs categories for a project; however program guidelines may not allow for funding certain cost categories. BankUnited Announces Nearly $500,000 in New Community Grants

All project costs must fall under the following standard cost categories and be directly attributable to the project. Half of the grants awarded during this current round went to organizations providing affordable housing in Florida and New York. Approximately 25 percent of the organizations receiving funding provide services to meet the needs of underserved youth, and another 20 percent address economic development and neighborhood revitalization. Organizations promoting adult financial literacy account for the remaining grant recipients.
